Zsolt has over two decades of pan-European investment experience and has invested in excess of $20 billion into all real estate asset classes in more than 20 European countries.
Prior to Pictet Alternative Advisors, Zsolt was Managing Director and Head of European Acquisitions at Starwood Capital, one of the top firms in global private equity real estate.
Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2013, he was Chief Investment Officer at Meyer Bergman for eight years, a European real estate investment firm that he co-founded.
Before that he was a Director at GE Capital, where he acquired financial platforms as well as loan portfolios across Europe.
Sophie van Oosterom
CEO and CIO – EMEA
Sophie van Oosterom is CEO and CIO for EMEA. In this capacity, she oversees operations, investment strategy and
performance, underwriting and program development in the region. She is a member of the Global Executive Committee and Global Investment Committee and chairs the European Executive Committee and European Investment Committee.
Ms.van Oosterom joined CBRE Global Investors in 2013 as Head of Special Programs with leadership of investor strategy, repositioning and redefining strategies to optimize value for the investors for the various special program funds.
Ms.van Oosterom began her real estate and finance career in 1996. Before joining CBRE Global Investors she was a
managing director and European Head of Asset Management of the Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners private equity funds (now Silverpeak Real Estate Partners) with around $20 billion of assets under management at its peak. In this capacity, she was a member of the boards of several real estate companies throughout Europe, where she helped define strategy, financial structuring and value creation across all real estate asset classes. Before that she worked in investment banking M&A advisory with JP Morgan and Barings.
Ms.van Oosterom earned a Master’s degree in Economics (Cum Laude) from the University of Amsterdam. She is a
honorary citizen of Marseille (France).

Jan Kristensson is the Global Expansion & Development Director for Ingka Centres since November 2016.
Before, and for 8 years, he worked as the Managing Director for IKANO Retail Centres, leading the development and management of all the company shopping centres in the Nordic countries.
Prior to that he worked Retail Parks as Managing Director. Retail Parks was a joint venture between IKANO and Skanska in Sweden for the development of Factory Outlets in Scandinavia.

Patrick Nelson is Executive Vice President of Real Estate at WeWork. Patrick heads up WeWork's real estate expansion within EMEA, he holds a MBA from Columbia University and is originally from London.
